(TS808 style overdrive modified)

Wisemen

The Origin Story:

We built the Wisemen because we were tired of the traditional flaws of vintage overdrive—specifically that dark, indistinct fluff that happens when you try to use a classic screamer at low-gain settings. We wanted to build an intelligent overdrive. One that keeps your playing highly nuanced and touch-sensitive even at minimal drive, giving your sound its ultimate driving force without sacrificing clarity.

The Bloodline:

Our mission was to recreate the absolute pinnacle of mid-range soul: the legendary TS808 Tube Screamer. To do it right, we insisted on loading the circuit with the highly coveted, original JRC4558D chip to guarantee that authentic, velvety-warm overdrive texture. Then, we modernized it. Wisemen delivers that iconic, meticulously tuned mid-hump that slices effortlessly through any dense band mix like a hot knife through butter. To push it into the modern era, we equipped it with three distinct mini-toggles, giving you absolute power over your clipping, brightness, and low-end fatness.
